Further updates!
I've added a few more things to the Resources page. This includes, most notably, a link to the Electronic Literature Directory because why was that not there in the first place?
This is a good question, to which we may never know the answer. The point, though, is that it has been fixed.
As the Resources lists continue to grow, please feel free to suggest things.

Awesomeness Elsewhere: Emily Short's Interactive Storytelling blog
I will get around to putting up a proper blogroll soon enough, but in the meantime I'm just going to keep highlighting some IF heavy hitters and other things you might like to check out in these Awesomeness Elsewhere posts.
Emily Short is an award-winning IF author and editor of the IF Theory Reader, but in addition to taking a look at her various IF works, y'all really ought to meander on over to her blog. Not only does she share awesome news and links, she also reviews IF works and writes essays on the subject. Additionally, she's got a ton o' links and resources... so go get on that RSS feed pronto, like a cat on a patch of sunlight.
If you have a suggestion for a future Awesomeness Elsewhere highlight, let me know!

Updates to Resources page
I've just updated our Resources page to include a link to Playfic. Head on over there if you want to learn more about interactive storytelling or try out a few tools.
Our list is by no means exhaustive, of course. So far I've only added some popular tools and my personal favourites, so if you have something to suggest, please do let me know. Drop a comment, send an email, or hit us up on Twitter.

Awesomeness Elsewhere: Border House
The
Border House Blog runs a great regular feature that showcases indie and
reader-made games, many of them made using Twine. It’s a great place to
start if you are looking for short-and-sweet interactive fiction to
try.
Announcing Interactive Storytelling Ottawa!
Prompted largely by my recently-renewed enthusiasm for hypertext fiction, I decided to create this meetup group in the hopes that some community interaction will help direct my growth as both a creator and consumer of Interactive Fiction.
Whether you are a gamer, a writer, a literature buff, or just curious — I hope you'll join me in exploring Interactive Fiction and building a local community of enthusiasts.
So! Follow us on Twitter and subscribe to this blog. Join us at our meetups and share your ideas. News and improvements will be coming soon!
Confused? Check out our About page.
